Questions parents ask
What is ado?
ado is an Indian skincare brand made for kids, tweens and teens aged 7–17. It makes three products: the Gentle Oat Face Wash, the Daily Moisturiser and the Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50+, which uses zinc oxide as its only UV filter. The Tween's Kit brings all three together as a simple routine: cleanse, moisturise, protect. It's gentle daily care for growing skin, not baby care and not adult skincare.
Where can I see the full ingredient list?
In the Ingredients section on each product page on adoskin.com. Every ingredient is listed there, including fragrance, which is the last ingredient in all three products.
Does ado contain fragrance?
Yes. All three ado products contain fragrance, and it's the last ingredient on each label. If your child has eczema, very sensitive skin or reacts to fragrance, patch-test on a small area first or choose a fragrance-free option.
Is ado safe for kids?
ado is made for growing skin aged 7–17, with oat in every step and no retinoids, exfoliating acids or vitamin C serums in the range. All three products are paraben- and phthalate-free, and the full ingredient list is on each product page. Each product also contains fragrance (the last ingredient on the label), so as with any new product, try a small amount on a patch of skin first and stop if it stings or causes redness. If your child has eczema or another skin condition, check with your doctor first.
Is ado non-comedogenic?
The face wash and the sunscreen are labelled non-comedogenic, which means they're made not to clog pores. The moisturiser's label doesn't say non-comedogenic, but it is a lightweight, non-greasy, pH-balanced gel-cream. If your child gets pimples, watch how their skin responds over a few weeks, and see a dermatologist if breakouts are frequent or painful.
